The time for Wii users to rejoice is almost upon us.  Thus far the the online action in the next gen consoles had been with Xbox 360 with tthe groundbreaking Xbox Live services.  The majority of the users have been there for the game “Halo” but the niche for arcade style game has been vastly growing. Recently Sony has been serving up some bold style arcade games as well with good downloadable content.

Which leaves the question what is Nintendo going to do with the Wii to try to compete in this wide open market.  Well on May 12th we should get our answer as they open the doors to Wii ware, Nintendo’s own  outlet for new original downloadable gaming content.  This will provide gamers new content to keep them happy and a low cost environment for developers to play around in.  So lets just keep our fingers crossed that the Nintendo Wii platform can serve up some great gaming content for all to enjoy!
